COFCO Biochemical's supply chain system in Sales activity is achieving its value by delivering the products to the customer in a safe, punctual and efficient manner, Transportation Administration Division of Sales Administration Department is in charge of the supply chain system management, which includes truck transportation, railway transportation, river and ocean transportation and so on. Truck transportation contractor is selected from at least 3 bidders, for cost and efficiency. Railway transportation is transforming to relying on railway agent to a independent railways transportation operator.
Based on the information collected regarding oil price, insurance, season, weather and other factors may impact transportation market, and the following of delivering process Transportation Division takes proactive measures in the transportation market.
Transportation Division is also in charge of the appraisal of the contractor performance including cost, service, credibility etc., through the competition on contractors and performance appraisal system, freight cost is lowered while service is improved, efficient and effective supply chain service is made available for our customer.
