COFCO Biochemical's technical center is a state level R&D center, having 34 researchers and engineers, 7 of them are postgraduate, 20 of them are bachelors, 7 of them are undergraduate. As the technical support and R&D center, it is providing talent and technical guarantees to the sustainable development of the company.
with integration of enterprise, University and Research Institutions, and the focus on technical innovation, the technical center has built long term cooperation with China Pharmacy University, NanJing University, ZheJiang University, ZhongShan University, XiaMen University, Northwest University and so on, partners with TianJin University, TianJin KeJi University, JiangNan University, China Science Institution’s Plasma Physics Research Division on the microbiology fermentation technologies, made great contribution to the development of COFCO Biochemical and the industries. Through partnership research and independent research, based on the modern bioengineering and chemical separation technologies, the technical center applies filtrate fermentation, membrane separation, continuous ion-exchange and color spectrum separation, molecular distillation and other advanced technologies into agricultural products manufacturing, in the meantime, much proprietary and leading technology are developed in the areas of organic acid, ammo acid, starch sweetener, alcohol’s manufacturing.
The technical center owns competitive R&D resources and advanced equipment, especially on separation technology side, having the sole ISEP color spectrum mobile bed in China. Its microbiology division, biochemical division, separation and extraction division, application technology division, testing technology division and pilot plant is bound to play important role the company's future development.
